The month of November is full of major ecclesiastical events and great saints. In this month the forty day Nativity Fast begins leading us to Christmas and a Great Feast of the Mother of God that focuses on her entrance into the Temple of Jerusalem as a child. Some of the many great Saints we celebrate include The Unmercenary Saints Cosmas and Damian of Asia Minor, the Archangels Michael and Gabriel, Nektarios the Wonderworker, Menas the Great Martyr, John Chrysostom, Andrew the Apostle, Saint Stylianos and the Patronal Feast of our Parish, Saint Catherine.
We will also be having our monthly English Divine liturgy, paraklesis to St Catherine, Holy Unction and Vespers.
